Pocket, Praise & Prayer Note

This is part of my morning devotions.

These little yellow note squares (no comment as to where their from, so don't ask), are my Pocket, Praise and Prayer note.

Each morning ... I date one. List several things to Praise my God about. Like...Saving me, keeping my family healthy and safe. Giving me a good job with benefits. Praise Him for my Church friends, also.

Then list things to remember through the day, to Pray about. These would be like: Many sick from my Church. And co-workers also acquaintances. People who need jobs and mended relationships. The final two lines of the Prayer List are always the same. And here they are:

Lord, please show the Hires' Family back home.

And

GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY AND GOVERNMENT

Let me share ...

THIS I KNOW

I know not by what methods rare, 

But this I know--God answers prayer.

I know that He has given His Word,

Which tells me prayer is always heard,

And will be answered, soon or late,

And so I pray and camly wait.

I know not if the blessing sought

Will come in just the way I thought,

But leave my prayers with Him alone,

Whose will is wiser than my own---

Assured that He will grant my quest,

Or send some answer far more blest.
